Where are they sourced, are they fair trade, are they certified?
They are sourced in the US. We do not have fair trade certification on the ingredients.
Where in the US are they manufactured?
Our manufacturing facility is in Florida.
Are the products sulfate free?
Yes, our products are sulfate free.
Does this contain talc?
No, it does not.
Does this product leave your hair feeling sticky or stiff?
It's not sticky or stiff like with spray cover up. Although it does feel slightly different than the rest of your hair as if there is powder on it.
Is it hypoallergenic?
Hypoallergenic Definition: Designed to reduce or minimize the possibility of an allergic response, as by containing relatively few or no irritating substances. I would say our product fits that definition.
How easy is it to use?
It's very easy to use. Just dip the brush in the powder, tap the excess off then brush onto your hair. Try to brush only on your roots, not on your scalp so
your scalp doesn't look dyed. If you grab a section of hair, pull it away from your scalp and then brush from the base outward it covers well.
Is this waterproof?
It is waterproof. It takes shampoo to remove it from your hair.
Can I apply this on slightly damp hair?
That should work fine!
Does is cover the scalp as well?
It does, it provides good cover of the scalp.
Does the brush come in a separate case?
We do sell the product both with and without a brush. If you purchase with brush, it comes together with the product, no separate case.
How big is this container? Do you get a lot of product?
The container is 2” around and 1” deep. There is 0.3 oz of powder. The amount that is in there seems endless! It is safe and non-toxic so all is good.
This product is sometimes messy to use. How can I make it less messy?
Loose mineral powder products can seem messy to use if you’re not used to them. One thing to keep in mind is to make sure you are tapping out a small amount of powder into the lid, then dipping the tip of your brush into the powder, swirling it a bit, but then MAKING SURE YOU TAP OFF THE EXCESS
powder into the jar (by tapping on the edge of the jar) before applying. This will keep the excess powder from getting on places you don’t want it.
Are they free from herbicides, pesticides, heavy metals, GMO's or other chemicals?
They are pure minerals with no fillers, but we do not test raw materials for this.
Do they contain nanoparticles?
No they are not nanoparticles.
Is the manufacturing facility NSF CGMP certified?
We follow the GMP regulations and guidelines.
